Seeking to entertain community residents and to raise funds for area high school vocal music programs, three quartets from the Coles County Barbershop Chorus sang more than 70 performances in and around Charleston and Mattoon.

The 43rd Annual Coles County Chorus Installation of Officers Dinner/Program was held at Yoder’s Amish Restaurant on Friday, January 19, 2013. It may have been the most meaningful of any such event we’ve had.
2012 Christmas Concert in Pictures
The Coles County Chorus presented its 37th Annual Christmas Benefit Concerts on December 2, 2012. The chorus performed two excellent programs of secular and sacred music. Best of all, we collected over $3,800 for local food pantries and HOPE, a homeless/domestic abuse shelter.
